Is there anyone out there working towards modeling the Hyperion airship from Disney's Island at the top of the world for flying in a computer flight sim? I've read all the past posts here at this site and although there has been a lot of discussion on the Hyperion, I don't see where anyone is modeling it for use in a flight sim. If anyone is working on it please let me know. It would be great to have it for flying in Micorsoft combat flight simulator 2 (since CFS3 is nowhere near as good as CFS2) and it would be good to have it for IL2 and Flight simulator 2004 "A century of flight" too. I'd love to fly the Hyperion in a flight sim in lost world scenery or in icy mountain scenery like in the movie. If I had to pick just two sims to recommend modeling it for, they would be CFS2 and Il2. There is a lot of really cool after market scenery for CFS2 that would be a blast to fly the Hyperion in.
Please someone model this. I have scoured the net and no one has done it yet.
The Hyperion is such a cool Jules Verne style airship. It's hard to believe no one has modeled it for flight sim use yet.
Regards, Bill.
