I found this brousing on the web - I have no idea why it was made, but it is certainy very impressive!

Does anyone know anything about it?

Sierra Madre games had links to this pic, and another, on their website for their "Airships at War" game. The links seem to be broken though. I believe it was made by Andrew Hall, but I haven't been able to find any more info.

Yes that was made by Andrew for a game company. I chatted with him via e-mail not too long ago. I have to let him know about this site! Hopefully he'll come on by and we can discuss it with him.

This was the only historically accurate high-res CG airship I was able to find on the Net. That is, of course, until my new LZ-1! ;) BTW, pics of that will be posted shortly, it's nearly done! :D

I did the airship, just for grins. I shared it with Sierra Madre games, publishers of "Luftschiff," and they used it. Glad you liked it.
