Airship Models

I stumbled across this company while searching on ebay. While their work is not kits the models seem impressive.

I've seen their Shennie and Graf on eBay lots of times. But, I didn't know they made all those other airship models!

They don't seem to give too much info on how these models are constructed. Based on what I have seen on eBay, I think these are carved from wood by workers in the Philippines. I think they "cheat" to create the look of a faceted hull by adding thin strips of wire to the outside of a cigar-shaped carving, then coat the whole thing to blend it in.

At any rate, the models look pretty good for a ready-made display. Not too bad! :)
