I'm looking for the old AMT Akron/Macon injection molded kit.

I have heard that there was a limited run kit of these airships in a larger scale manufactured in the United States which I would also be interested in.

I've seen them on EBay with regularity, going for $30-40 if intact and unbuilt. None on there right now, but they pop up, usually when I'm flat broke! :(

I have a few of the AMT and Hindenburg kits, some still in shrink wrap. They are available for $45 each plus shipping.

The Akron / Macon kit is quite good and makes a nice display piece.

The Hindenburg kit requires a LOT of work to make it acceptable. I have 'superdetailed' one and am quite pleased with it. I will post photos later in the gallery.

The Revell kit of the Hindenburg I like better, even though its smaller.

If there is a rush for the kits I have available (unlikely) it will be first come, first served!
