Anyone out there have a CAG file they would share, :yeow: found a lazer place near my home and the guy wants a file to cut the ship for me, I want to build S@L ship II or a file close to that ship, about 4 to 5 foot long is what I want to make. :oof: I'm not very good with computors , looking to make the rings like Andreas does, about 6 to 7 inchs in Diameter. You can make patterns for laser-cutting using CorelDraw. It's a bit tricky and requires some experience. It's also a LOT of work. Someone needs to sit down and spend time engineering the model's structure first, then designing the whole thing part-by-part. It's a lot of work even for a simple model, so I wouldn't be surprised if no one wants to just post or give away the finished product.

I'm always available if someone wants to commission something. :)

I want to build the S@L ship 2 drawing 20 sections on each ring, and trying to line them up is madding! want a 4 to 5 foot model, so you have the program to do this???? !/8 th inch material is what I want to work with. Maybe some good scan from my S@L book for trade????? rick:yeow:

I'm swamped at the moment, but we might be able to work something out once I deliver the project I'm currently working on (deadline is coming soon). E-mail me and we can talk more. :)

Nope, I'm building some sci-fi models (Battlestar Galactica) for clients at the moment. This has been keeping me busy for the last couple years now.
