One of the few great monuments to LTA aviation is at risk of destruction. The Navy is considering the demolition of Moffett field Hanger one. The Moffett Field Historical Society is trying to save Hanger. They can be contacted at http://www.moffettfieldmuseum.org/ The USS Macon can be seen over the Hanger.
